What attracted you to Red Tent Australia?

Red Tent Australia is one of the fastest growing charitable organisations in Australia, focused on women through networking and collaboration. The ability to heal through community and the services and integrity of the organisation instantly appealed to my own soul’s essence and purpose.

What is your experience so far?

As the co-facilitator of Bayside Red Tent and the Organisation’s Treasurer I have the unique ability to engage with the women in a collective capability, but also forecast and create the strategic direction of the Organisation, itself. To date my experience has been one of community, collaboration, passion, support, friendship and love!

What do you hope to bring to your community?

As one of the facilitators of Red Tent Australia, I hope to bring my own unconditional love into the space, and offer my own perspective and ability to hold space – allowing the women in our community to feel safe, protected and loved as they move through their own journey of happiness.

What attracted you to Red Tent Australia?

I didn’t seem to “fit-in” anywhere and a friend suggested Red Tent in Cleveland.
From first meeting Jill and the wonderful gathering of welcoming and supporting ladies, I felt at home.
My original membership number is 24. I just wish that number was my age, knowing what I have learnt through Red Tent Australia.

What is your experience so far?

Experience as a convenor of Wise Women Group meetings monthly.
PS: Last month I forgot the meditation….dddrrrrhhhh

What do you hope to bring to your community?

To be a conduit to facilitate the ethics and practises of Red Tent. To provide a safe, welcoming environment that comes with a heart and compassion. Providing a meeting place for like minded women to nurture their own inner well-being through a sense of belonging.
To also collaborate with knowledgeable women to pass on their experiences and skills to promote higher consciousness within others.
To promote A safe place to “just BE”.

What attracted you to Red Tent Australia?

I began facilitating Bayside Red Tent in April 2013 when my youngest son was only 2 weeks old. I knew from past experiences that I had a tendency to feel lonely and depressed after childbirth and didn’t actually know too many women in Australia having just moved here from USA in 2012. I knew that friends weren’t going to come knocking on my door. I actually prayed for a circle of wise women. And then created it. Bayside Red Tent grew very quickly and has now turned into Red Tent Australia, I couldn’t be prouder or feel more supported 😊 I LOVE WHAT I DO AND FEEL INCREDIBLY BLESSED!!

What is your experience so far?

When I started facilitating I made lots of mistakes. I put others needs before mine and let people take advantage of me. I didn’t respect my time and so others didn’t either. I now know that to hold space for others I have to fill MY cup first. Working as a leader in my community requires a very high degree of self-care, I know that if my needs are met then I can be there for others. I am a mother to 6 young people; 5 boys,1 girl.
I am partnered to an awakened man who I met when I was 16, we married in 2012. A Permaculture Design Architect. We live on a 47 acre biodynamic farm in Redland Bay.
I am a trained Yoga Teacher,Reiki Practitioner, Raw Food Chef, Holistic Counsellor and Shamanic Path and Practice student. I was trained in Red Tent facilitation by Tanishka,The Moon Woman.

What do you hope to bring to your community?

When women gather in circles the world heals, the ripple effect is huge!!
I am very excited to be leading Red Tent Australia as we open more branches all over the country!
The opportunity for women to step up as leaders, create change and initiate positive growth in each other’s lives fills me with immense joy!!
Having a home base for Red Tent Australia and Bayside Red Tent to use is such a blessing and enables us to serve our members and the community. I have huge plans and goals for RTA to become a household name and a place for every woman who desires change and support to go to each month. The programmes and retreats we have for each age group and life transition are life changing and based in Sacred Commerce- the way of the future!! We hope you’ll join us!!

I recently completed the facilitator modules 1&2 .. and all I can say is ... wow! I have travelled far and learned a lot and to be able to offer a safe place for women to speak their truth and lift each other as we learn... I am honoured. I loved making the tools and yes.. Day 2 was definitely a favorite. It helped me to reconnect to my own sacred feminine. Namaste... thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
